PocketMileage II is designed for those who need to track their vehicle mileage for tax purposes or for mileage cost reimbursement by their employer. Mileage data and information can be entered easily on a single screen, with the user having the ability to assign a category and note to each entry. Customizing image and sound
===========================
Version 1.2 of Tricorder has been modified to allow for the customization of the images displayed and sounds played when tapping on the buttons in the display. For each of the buttons on the left side of the screen (6 buttons + exit button), there are two images displayed and a sound played. The following files found in the "/Program Files/ScaryBear Software/Tricorder" directory on your PocketPC are linked to those buttons:
Button Files
------------------------------------------------
Scan 1 scan1a.bmp, scan1b.bmp, scan1.wav
Scan 2 scan2a.bmp, scan2b.bmp, scan2.wav
Scan 3 scan3a.bmp, scan3b.bmp, scan3.wav
Store storea.bmp, storeb.bmp, store.wav
Retrieve retrievea.bmp, retrieveb.bmp, retrieve.wav
Purge purgea.bmp, purgeb.bmp, purge.wav
Note, that for the first image (e.g., scan1a.bmp) the bitmap size is 51x64, and the second image (e.g., scan1b.bmp) is 124x136 in size.
If an image or sound file is not present for a specific button, nothing will be displayed or played.
Now, if you understand how the bitmap files and wave files are used by the tricorder program, you can easily create your own images and sound files and substitute them in the "/Program Files/ScaryBear Software/Tricorder" directory.
With version 1.2, you can also store the bitmap and wave files on your external storage device (e.g., CF card) and have Tricorder read from that location.
