After installation, all your Visual Basic Programs should run fine. If, for any reason, you get an error saying "There is no application associated with *.vb.", you know that for some reason or other, the runtime files have been removed. All that you need to do then is to run the VB Runtime application and it will register the files for you and a message will appear confirming it. If you get a message saying that a dll is not in the Windows directory, the actual files have been deleted or renamed, so at that point you should reinstall VB Runtime.
