Pocket Image is an image management software for color Pocket PCs. The program was primarily designed for the Compaq iPaq H36XX Pocket PCs. However, the program should also work on the other color Pocket PCs of the same category such as the Casio E-115 and HP Jornada 54x Series Pocket PCs. Using Pocket Image, you can browse through pictures in an image list forward or backward. You can also put all the pictures you want in image lists and start an automatic slide show with background music and adjustable time interval, making it a perfect tool for marketing multimedia slide show presentations. The Pro Edition of Pocket Image includes PocketImageUtils, a desktop utility that allows you to convert more than 50 different image file formats and copy them to your Pocket PC. PocketImageUtils is powered by the same leading image processing toolkit that's used by professional graphics software on the market.

cataloging software for color Pocket Pcs. The program was
primarily designed for the Compaq iPaq H3630/3650. However,
it should run on other Pocket PCs of the same class such as the
Casio E-115 and HP Jornada 54x Series running Windows CE 3.0.
Using Pocket Image, you can view images one by one or put all
the images you want in an image list and start an automatic
slide show with adjustable timer interval.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE FREEWARE VERSION, STANDARD AND PRO EDITION

* The freeware version of Pocket Image allows you to play up
to 5 images in the image list.
* The registered version of Pocket Image Standard Edition
can play an unlimited number of images (as many as you can
store on your flash memory card).
* The registered version of Pocket Image Pro Edition includes
a desktop utility that allows you to convert more than 50
different image file formats (BMP, WMF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PCD,
FPX, MAC, PCX, WPG, TGA, MSP, PCT, RAS, etc.), scale them
down to the Pocket PC screen size, then copy them to your
Pocket Pc.
HARDWARE/SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

Desktop PC:
* Windows 95/98/NT4/2000 running ActiveSync 3.1.
NOTE: Pocket Image was developed and tested on a Windows
2000 SP1 computer using eMbedded Visual Tools 3.0.
Pocket PC:
* Guarantuee to work on the Compaq iPaq H3630/3650.
* Should work on the Casio E-115 and HP Jornada 54x Series.
* May also work on other ARM, MIPS, and SH3 Pocket PCs.
NOTE:
Pocket Image was developed and tested on the Compaq iPaq
H3630/3650. This product has not been tested with any
other devices since I don't have a deep pocket like Microsoft
to buy all devices on the market. However, Pocket Image
should work with all color Pocket PCs running Windows CE 3.0.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
------------------------
1) Run install.exe to install all necessary files to your desktop PC.
I'd recommend installing Pocket Image in the default folder.
2) Make sure that you can browse the Pocket PC file system from the
desktop PC Windows Explorer, then run "Initialize Pocket Image"
to register Pocket Image on the device.
NOTE:
* You must run "Initialize Pocket Image" on the desktop PC *first*
before you can start using IMCE on the Pocket PC.
* If you receive the message "Could not connect to device..." when
running "Initialize Pocket Image", try to re-start both Windows
and the device to re-establish the Activesync connection, then
re-run "Initialize Pocket Image".
REGISTRATION
------------
The registration fee is $29 for the Standard Edition and $49 for
the Pro Edition. Please see the REGISTER.TXT file for more details.
WARRANTY/REFUND
---------------
Pocket Image is fully functional for a limited number of images
to make sure it works for you and it's what you want. In order to
play an unlimited number of images (well, up to the maximum capacity
of your flash memory), you must purchase the registered copy.
Registration will also earn you the PocketImageUtils desktop utilties
that allows you to convert from about 50 different image files on your
desktop PC and transfer them to your Pocket Pc.
Since the program is fully functional for a limited number of images,
there will be no refund after you decide to purchase it.

Pocket Image is licensed on a per user basis. The license
grants the user the right to install and use the software on one
or more computers so long as the total number of users does not
exceed the license quantity.
Pocket Image Registration Information
-------------------------------------------
When you register Pocket Image you will receive a license
file which the program will use to activate the shareware copy
and recognize you as a registered user. The registration
includes receiving the latest updates to Pocket Image files via
the internet or on a CD-ROM via the U.S. Postal Service.

Registrations will be processed upon receipt of the current
equivalent of U.S. funds in check or money order (must be drawn
or paid through a U.S. bank. If it is drawn agaisnt a non-US
bank, please add an extra $US 5 because that's how much my bank
