Installation Guide
To install HNHSoft English Dictionary on your device, please follow the
instructions below:
1. Download the setup package to your local desktop PC.
Download the installation package from
http://www.hnhsoft.com/downloads.htm
Find the product you want to download, click on the diskette icon, and save the
file to your local desktop PC. If you do not have a program to open .zip file,
please download it at http://www.winzip.com
2. Start ActiveSync
Connect your Pocket PC to your desktop PC via cable or cradle and let Active
Sync start. Wait until the Active Sync green icon goes into steady state.
3. Remove previous version of HNHSoft English Dictionary
If you have a copy of HNHSoft English Dictionary installed, please un-install it.
On your Pocket PC, go to Start
Settings
System
Remove programs,
and remove the program.
4. Check free space
HNHSoft English Dictionary V3.0
requires at least 22MB free
memory to install. Please make
sure you have enough memory
either in the internal memory or
the external storage card. To
check the free memory, on your
Pocket PC go to Start
Settings

System
Memory.

5. Run Setup
On your desktop PC, double click the installation file eedict.exe to start the
main setup program. Then follow on-screen instructions to proceed.
6. Choose installation location
You can install HNHSoft English Dictionary to either the internal memory or the
external storage card. When the installation program asks if you want to install
the program to its default location, please select No if you want to install it to
the external storage card.
7. Done!
You will now see the HNHSoft English Dictionary icon on your Programs menu.
You are all set to go.
