SMS at Hand is the Windows Mobile text messaging application that consists of two main screens. The first one includes a list of Contacts arranged in a smart way: from the most intensively used to the least. At the very top you always see the entities with new messages. When entering any Contact, you see the whole history of its communication with you, including short text messages and calls which are chronologically presented. The conversation screen provides all details of each item and shows the whole SMS text body without the necessity of unrolling it. Use it as a convenient and immediate way of inputting an SMS When you input a new message through SMS at Hand, you are not limited to one-line edit box like in most similar messengers. Your application adjusts the input box to fit the text while typing.

The use of system message store
All operations made on the message items are reflected in the system message store and all operations made in other messengers are immediately reflected in SMS at Hand. You do not have to select the system to use any longer. Use one or both if you wish. All your messages are safe in one place.
The Switch to function gives the possibility of quick switching to the conversation where new message has just arrived
During the conversation with one Contact you can get message from another person. One key press can switch you to view this message and start a new conversation.
Auto sized message editor
The new SMS editor gives you the possibility of controlling the typing of long messages by adjusting its size to text length and watching the conversation history at once. You can switch to the chat at any time to refresh your friend’s last words and then move back to your SMS editing. The Editor also automatically capitalizes the first letters of your sentences so you can focus on the subject matter. Copy and paste options are now available.

The Active links of phone numbers, e-mail and URLs
Any phone numbers, e-mail addresses or web page URL are displayed as hyperlinks you can follow. The User may save to Contacts, navigate to web page, send an e-mail, call to number or send SMS depending of the link type.

User has possibility to define frequently used texts, signatures and emoticons. They will be easy accessed from menu and inserted to new SMS.

Adaptable interface: colors, orientation and fonts
Backgrounds, items and highlights adapt to the System Color Scheme and make your SMS at Hand interface fully compliant with the template you have selected. You can adjust the font size to your preferences. The application handles portrait and landscape orientation and automatically rescales for any resolution. On HTC phones with G-sensor program automatically handles autoration.
The list of Contacts is sorted from the most intensively used to the least, which makes the average time of reaching the desired conversation much shorter.
This feature is the default sorting option for Contacts. You can also sort them in alphabetical order, by date of the last message. Whatever sorting option you select, you always see Contacts with unread messages at the top of the screen. The Contacts are added to the list automatically if you sent or got any text message to or from them.
The Calendar jump function allows you to jump to the required day of conversation.
The calendar enables you to find messages from a specific date. It shows you months of conversation with clearly marked days on which you chatted with a given person. You can scroll through months and pick the appropriate day. After that, the conversation history repositions to that day. This feature is especially useful when you have intensively communicated and have huge number of messages..
The Today Screen notification with direct link after receiving a new SMS
After receiving a new SMS, you get custom notification with direct link to SMS at Hand instead of the standard Windows messaging application.
Long message texts can be rolled up to 2-line items.
Since you view the whole text massages, sometimes their long body does not let you view the next messages on the same screen. Then you can roll up the selected item to a safe space. You can unroll the selected item at any time. All by clicking one icon
Filter capabilities
You can filter your messages in many ways: only incoming, only sent, all messages, including call.
